CCA Dream Kitchens Tour

The Chesapeake Cancer Alliance Dream Kitchens Tour will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 from noon to 5:00 pm.

The event showcases five spectacular kitchens in the Bel Air area by:

• Rojahn Custom Cabinetry
• Glenangus Homes
• Cornerstone Kitchens
• Rooms With a View
• Churchville Kitchens

Local restaurant chefs who have committed to this fundraiser are:

• April Koppenhoefer, chef, Bliss Coffe and Wine Bar
• Matt Slater, chef, Maryland Golf and Country Clubs
• Marleen Baumgartner, owner, Fritzie's Deli and Catering
• Alice Azar, CCA member
• Giovanni Aiello, chef, Enotria

In addition, Warren Brow, host of the Food Network show "Sugar Rush" and owner of Cakelove Bakeries, as well as Gary Helton, host of "Jazz in the Morning on WHFC, Harford Community College Radio, will be the local celebrity chefs.

Raffle items include:

• a cruise for (2) on the Lantern Queen
• wine tasting for (4) at Mt. Felix Vineyard and Winery
• (3) $25.00 gift certificates to Tidewater Grille
• (1) $75.00 gift certificate to Laurrapin Grille
• (1) $75.00 gift certificate to Bulle Rock Restaurant
• an interactive cooking lesson for (8) in your home by Fritzie's Deli and Catering
• (1) $50.00 gift certificate to Natural Gatherings
• (1) $100.00 gift certificate to Courtland Hearth and Hardware

Tickets will be on sale starting March 4th at the following locations:

• Preston's Stationery - Bel Air
• HeartBeat - Bel Air
• Cornerstone Kitchens - Bel Air
• Rooms with a View - Bel Air/Hickory

Tour tickets are limited to 400 at $25.00 each. Tour tickets will not be sold at the homes on tour day. For information call Laurie Manns Adolph at 443-617-1220.

UCHF Receives
$80,000 from CCA

CCA members present a check to members of the Upper Chesapeake Foundation and Cancer LifeNet.

CCA Bracelets

CCA members are making and selling CCA Bracelets for $20 each. For sale are the "Cancer Awareness Bracelet" and the "Breast Cancer Bracelet" w/ sterling silver and cats eye beads and sterling ribbon or pink ribbon charms. Available by contacing a CCA member or calling 410-638-0301.
